In partnership with key customers, industry experts, chemical raw material suppliers, universities and research and testing organisations EMCPA pursues the development of materials and designs that deliver unmatched reliability. In 2014 EMCPA adopted the 'HCEP' hydrophobic resin system in combination with 'H-Sil' - our 2008 patented, permanently hydrophobic silica filler used in the epoxy composite. These hydrophobic materials have been globally and rigorously tested by customers and institutions for many years. The combination of 'HCEP' and 'H-Sil' has been given the nomenclature 'HH-CEP' to indicate the double hydrophobic factor of both the resin and the filler. The resulting products are Stronger, Lighter and Smarter than anything else available, and exhibit outstanding reliability and longevity in service.

EMCPA is proud to offer the innovative 15kV and 27kV cut-out range. Through a one piece HH-CEP moulding process the units' hardware is integrated into the cut-out insulator. The benefits of a material such as HH-CEP are that it is uniformly hydrophobic, thermal crack resistant and designed for extreme weather conditions.
